WHAT IS OUE SKYSPACE AND WHERE IS IT LOCATED?
OUE Skyspace is California’s tallest open-air observation deck and the premiere destination for panoramic, 360-degree views of Los Angeles. OUE Skyspace is located on floors 2, 54, 69 and 70 of the iconic U.S. Bank Tower, nearly 1,000 feet above downtown Los Angeles. The address for the U.S. Bank Tower is 633 West 5th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071. We recommend parking at Westlawn Parking Garage, directly across the street from the U.S. Bank Tower – 524 S. Flower Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071. The cross street is 5th and Flower.

WHEN DID THE OUE SKYSPACE OBSERVATION DECK OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?
The OUE Skyspace observation deck opened to the public on June 25, 2016.

HOW MANY STORIES/FEET HIGH IS THE OUE SKYSPACE OBSERVATION DECK?
The OUE Skyspace observation deck is located on floors 69 and 70 of the iconic U.S. Bank Tower, nearly 1,000 feet above downtown Los Angeles.

HOW CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS TO OUE SKYSPACE AND HOW MUCH DOES ADMISSION COST?
Tickets are available to purchase online or at the Box Office at Skyspace. Adult admission begins at $28. Click on the 'Buy Tickets' button at the top of the OUE Skyspace website to purchase tickets in advance.

ARE GROUP TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR OUE SKYSPACE?
Yes, group tickets and tours are available. Our group packages begin at groups of 10 people or more. Experiences can be customized to include food and beverage and gift shop discounts. For more information, contact [email protected]

IS OUE SKYSPACE FAMILY-FRIENDLY? ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?
OUE Skyspace is the ideal family-friendly attraction, suited for all ages. Our observation deck’s 360-degree view of Los Angeles is just the beginning. From interactive and educational components to the spectacular design, delicious refreshments and, of course, our signature exhilarating thrill factor, Skyslide, OUE Skyspace truly offers something for everyone. Children and adults of all ages are welcome to visit the observation deck. However, there is an age restriction of 4 years old to ride the Skyslide. Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a ticketed parent or guardian during their visit.

WHAT ARE THE OPERATING HOURS OF OUE SKYSPACE?The operating hours for the OUE Skyspace observation deck are: 7 Days a Week: Opens at 10am; last ticket sold at 9pm; Skyslide closure at 9:30pm; deck closure at 10pm. Hours are subject to change.

IS THE OBSERVATION DECK INDOOR/OUTDOOR?
Yes, in addition to the impeccably designed, indoor observation deck, OUE Skyspace is proudly home to California’s tallest open-air observation deck. Visitors will experience the year-round California sunshine like never before, perched nearly 1,000 feet above downtown LA. Boasting an unmatched 2,500 square feet of outdoor space, there’s simply no better way to honor Los Angeles’ near-perfect weather and diverse topography.

WHAT IS THE BEST TIME OF DAY/YEAR TO VISIT OUE SKYSPACE?
From dawn to dusk, the OUE Skyspace observation deck features unobstructed views, interactive elements and surprising thrills that allow for an ever-changing experience, no matter the time of day or year. Thanks to the natural elements that produce Los Angeles’ golden light, visitors will discover something new with each visit, whether it’s a candy-colored sunset over the Pacific or twinkling city lights against a black sky.

WHAT DISTINGUISHES OUE SKYSPACE FROM OTHER OBSERVATION DECKS?
As the tallest open-air observation deck in California and the only destination that offers a complete view of Los Angeles and its unique topography, OUE Skyspace stands apart from other observation deck experiences. CAN I HOST A PRIVATE EVENT AT OUE SKYSPACE?
Yes, the 70th floor of OUE Skyspace is available to rent for private events, including weddings, corporate meetings and special events. For more information, please contact [email protected].

IS OUE SKYSPACE SAFE?
All OUE Skyspace ambassadors have been thoroughly background checked. All guests will be screened at a security checkpoint prior to entering the attraction.

ARE FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPTIONS AVAILABLE?
The Skyspace Bar features handcrafted signature cocktails, beers, wines and handcrafted bites. There is also a grab & go area where waters, sodas, juices and snacks are available for purchase. No food or beverage will be allowed on the outdoor terrace.

WHAT ABOUT INCLEMENT WEATHER?
OUE Skyspace is open daily, rain or shine. In the event of severe weather systems, Skyslide and the outdoor observation decks may be closed briefly in the interest of guest and associate safety.

WHAT CAN'T I BRING INTO OUE SKYSPACE?
Luggage, markers, tripods, outside food and beverages, tools, pocket knives, lighters, pepper-spray/mace, commercial camera or audio recording equipment and emotional support animals/pets. This is not an exhaustive list. Please contact us via phone if you have questions about specific questionable items. Strollers are permitted in the attraction, however, we ask that you remove the child and collapse the stroller while in the attraction’s elevators.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY RESTRICED ITEMS DURING MY VISIT?
We recommend leaving these items in your vehicle or at your hotel. However, camera equipment and tripods and other restricted items can be stored with our Guest Services Team in the lobby during your visit, free of charge. Larger items can be stored at The Standard hotel located at 550 S. Flower Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071 for $5/person. Details will be provided by our Customer Service Desk upon your arrival. Pets must be kenneled outside of Skyspace.

WHAT IF I ARRIVE BEFORE OR AFTER MY TICKETED TIME?
Based on business levels at the time you arrive, you may be re-ticketed for the next available time period at management's discretion. Tickets not redeemed on the day they were purchased for are regretfully non-refundable however, can be changed to another day.

WHAT IF I JUST WANT TO RIDE THE SKYSLIDE?
All guests must purchase a ticket to access OUE Skyspace. Once inside the attraction, you may purchase as many Skyslide passes as you wish.

WHAT IF VISIBILITY IS POOR AT THE TIME OF MY VISIT?
OUE Skyspace has many things to do even on the gloomiest of days. Enjoy our Digital Interactive level, Skyslide and sights within the greater Downtown Los Angeles area. Hopefully, during your visit, visibility will improve. Refunds and rain checks are not extended due to weather and visibility reasons, as this is beyond our control.

AM I ABLE TO REFUND MY TICKETS?
It is our policy that we do not provide refunds, however, if there is an extenuating circumstance a ticketing agent can change the date and time of your ticket. Please call 213.894.9000 and dial the extension for General Tickets (EXT 1).

THE SKYSLIDE

WHAT IS THE SKYSLIDE?
The Skyslide is an outdoor glass slide positioned nearly 1,000 feet above Downtown Los Angeles. The Skyslide is made entirely of clear glass 1 ¼ inches thick, and extends forty-five feet long, from the 70th floor to the 69th floor of the U.S. Bank Tower. The entrance to the Skyslide is approximately four feet wide.

WHAT IF I'M NOT QUITE READY TO COMMIT TO THE SKYSLIDE EXPERIENCE?
With the purchase of a general admission ticket to OUE Skyspace, guests may choose to opt in for an additional Skyslide ticket once on the 70th floor, at the Skyslide entrance. Pending availability, a la carte Skyslide ticket purchases can be made with our friendly Skyspace Ambassadors using any major credit card.

WHAT IF I'M ALREADY TICKETED AND I DECIDE THE SKYSLIDE EXPERIENCE IS NOT FOR ME?
Skyslide tickets are non-refundable. However, they can be transferred to another member of your party as long as they ride at the scheduled ticket time.

ARE THERE RESTRICTIONS FOR RIDING THE SKYSLIDE? 
Guests must be at least 4 years old to ride the Skyslide and at least 39 inches of height to ride alone. Guests who are pregnant, think they might be pregnant, have any history of high blood pressure, heart conditions, back/neck/bone injuries or recent surgery or illness are discouraged from riding and do so at their own risk.

CAN I RIDE THE SKYSLIDE WITH SOMEONE ELSE?
Guests that are 4+ years of age and under 39 inches tall can ride the Skyslide tandem with an adult.

CAN I BRING PERSONAL BELONGINGS ON THE SKYSLIDE?
It is highly recommended that personal belongings be left with a non-rider. Riders must have both hands free during their ride. Small items may be placed in the lap of the rider. Larger items may be placed in small bags that the rider can wear as a backpack during their ride, which must be returned to the Slide Ambassador at the bottom of the slide. Please keep in mind, Skyspace is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property, including items transported in this manner.

WILL WEATHER AFFECT THE OPERATION OF THE SKYSLIDE?
In cases of inclement weather, the Skyslide may be closed for guest safety.

HOW WILL I RIDE DOWN THE SKYSLIDE?
All guests ride down the slide on specially-created mats that will increase the speed and thrill-factor of the ride while also providing a barrier to the glass.

CAN GUESTS IN WHEELCHAIRS RIDE THE SKYSLIDE?
Yes. The Skyslide has been designed to accommodate guests in wheelchairs. Lift equipment has been installed to assist guests in transferring from the Skyslide back onto wheelchairs.

PARKING

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT OUE SKYSPACE?
We recommend parking at Westlawn Parking Garage, directly across the street from the U.S. Bank Tower. The address for the Westlwan Parking Garage is 524 S. Flower Street | Los Angeles, CA 90071.

PARKING RATES:
$8 for up to 3 hours on weekdays (8am - 4pm)
$8 after 4pm on weekdays (until 8am the next day)
$8 on the weekends
